  •  Good morning. With all the bad news about ALEC (6+ / 0-)

    it's easy to get discouraged. What if we tried to get some good laws passed at the state level? Here is a good example of a good law that might pass on the state level.

    RALEIGH, N.C. — Potential employers and universities would not be able to ask for access to an applicant's private email or social media accounts under a measure the state House gave tentative approval to Wednesday night.

    House Bill 846 passed 110-2 but must stand for a second vote on Thursday.

      be in a race to the top in the lunatic scale.  I think SC is in the lead with this story:

      Given the numbers voted on the bill you mention, I have to wonder how many legislators know what email and social media are?  After all McCain had to have a staffer open his email account for him every day and Newt has never heard of a "smart phone"
