  •  News dissemination is a partisan enterprise (4+ / 0-)

The MSM "covers" issues based upon the charges and the countercharges leveled by each party.  GOP is charging IRS w/ using Nixonian tactics against Tea Party groups, and Dems gave the charges credence w/ yesterday's reaction to those charges.  Meanwhile, GOP has no interest in making a big deal about subpoenas to the AP, and Dems sure as hell aren't going to make an issue about it.  That's why the former story was on the FP of the NYT the past 2 days while the latter story was on p. 15 of yesterday and p. 17 today.

As to climate change, as I previously noted, when both major party nominees studiously avoid the issue, it tends to get ignored.   I don't recall Dems making an issue of tax avoidance, and the GOP sure as hell isn't going to do so.  It's not complicated.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream of things that never were and ask why not?

so working for more and better democrats means working for what percent?

      top 5%

      top 10%

for sure not for the middle class as seen in the attack on the new deal

the middle class was good before the rich struck back

and of course, we can't talk about poverty is invisible

the 1% wants to hide the Real Scandals under mountains of diversions

      you know, the American Culture

      •  Yes! Both parties are now in the 1% and both (0+ / 0-)
parties now work exclusively for the 1% and ( short of revolution )  only an Article V type of change in the Constitution can change this situation.
