    I think when all the leaners who actually will show up to vote are counted, Markey's probably up 8-12. I do expect Markey to solidify his support among Dems, but losing the unenrolleds (a group from whom I have less and less respect each day) by more than 20 is not great.

    The oddball WNEU polls during the primary season tried out the potential general election matchups and found Markey leading Gomez by a lot more. But Gomez got a bump from the primary win.

    The big issue will be turnout in a June special election.

      special or not - for the foreseeable future.  If Democrats don't work their adorable asses off in every election until the Republican party locates its sanity, we're in danger of repeats of 2010.
