the best interests of the country and its people.

and the people that interest me are strongly secular, have ideas on implementing effective policies that deal with health care, food, water, energy.

i don't want the gov't privatized. i don't want it torn apart by the absurd bullshit now filling the hallowed halls in Washington.

    it is embarrassing really.

    •  And once you have to support, or even (0+ / 0-)

vote, for someone other than yourself, how do you decide?

Do you vote for the candidate who most nearly embodies what you want in the holder of the office to be elected, regardless of electability? Or do you accept the responsibility of acting in light of the reasonably foreseeable consequences of your actions for all the citizens of the district, state, or country?
