Ironic thread about propaganda should include some actual science about rBGH.

    •  student post? (6+ / 0-)

A link to a peer reviewed article instead of a "student post" would probably carry more weight for the reality-based.  just saying

This is a student post at a reputable site, and reflects the prevailing view of knowledgeable people.  One may disagree, but should at least know what one disagrees with.  "A peer reviewed article" is a useless invitation to "one-study-itis."  Scientific consensus and persuasive argument require evaluation of many findings, and acknowlegement of contrary results and differing assessments.

that just because an essay isn't filled with science, it isn't factual. This is about lies and deceptions in the news being legalized - not about rBGH. The fact that the original story done was about rBGH isn't the point. Numerous studies have shown links between milk from cows treated with rBGH and breast cancer, colon cancer and prostate cancer. I mentioned the article in the International Journal of Health Services in 1996. Even the evil purveyors of poison, Monsanto, haven't said there is no link. They state publically that the evidence isn't conclusive and I mentioned that.

Are you an employee of FOX Propaganda Inc. or Monsanto Cancer Inc. or just a hater who enjoys being the smartest one in the room?

Are you OK with lies and distortions in the news being legal?

Do you believe that the "right" to drink cancer-causing chemicals is more important than factual news?

Your comment is actually quite ironic and betrays a twisted sense of priorities. Peace.

As I think you could enjoy hearing this - Most scientists in labs OUTSIDE the USA laugh at what passes for science in this county, especially with regards to products and their safety.

Many US scientists do not know how to devise a study in terms of using the International Protocols  and of course, most if not all of our scientists are far too willing to delete and cherry pick data to support the company that is funding their lab, or their university's lab. Any scientist that does have the guts to let a study indicate anything negative about a product will immediately become a pariah.

Their Corporate Influenced peer reviewed studies are laughed at over in Europe and other foreign nations? THis is  due to he fact that many if not most  scientists right now don't understand how to devise a study according to international Protocols, and are  also willing to delete and cherry pick data? The only "science" still going on with regards to products is doen outside the USA.
