        Ginsburg, Kennedy and Scalia.  If we can get another Democrat in the White House in 2016, then the Supreme Court might even be a 6-3 split in favor of the good guys and gals.

      but if I remember correctly, SC justices don't reveal their intentions until after the current court session is ended.

      I expect at least one resigns and possibly two; unforeseen conditions could also occur.

      Better for the nomination process to occur during a non election year rather than 2014 or 2016.

        but you are right that they most often wait until the end of the session.  And then there are the cases of the justices who hang on until they drop dead, like Rehnquist and Thurgood Marshall.

      Ginsburg is probably going to retire in the next year or so.  I hope she can convince her good friend, Antonin Scalia, to join her in an Arizona retirement community of their choosing.
