    on a story they got from the government in the first place. It really wasn't theirs until the administration gave the go-ahead, no matter what the reason. Yes, it could be that the White House wanted to announce it first. And the AP thinks they have the right to information they did not gather without the White House's help in the first place.

    How did the reporters know that the story had ended? Are they that thick with the CIA? I'm glad this happened. Yes, we have a free press. But we have a right to a government responsible for our safety and not somebody's scoop.
