    talking like we still have a press that is really doing its job?  Did the press do its job in the run up to the war in Iraq?  Noooooooo,  it did not.  Did it inform citizens about the features of the Affordable Care Act or did it devote hours and hours to tea partiers rampaging about death panels.  The Pew Center for Excellence in Journalism says that there was far more coverage featuring rhetoric like the "government takeover of healthcare" than informative reporting on the actual legislation.  

    I'm having a hard time working up any sympathy for a newsmedia outlet because they let us down for years.

    There is no existence without doubt.
