    In the 2012 election, Obama beat Romney by 44 percentage points, 71%-27%, which is double the margin of Democrats 32 years ago.

    Given the demographics of voting in this country, if the margin of Democrats goes to 90%-10% as if very well could if immigration reform is killed by the GOP, the White House will never again be occupied by a Republican.

    How is filibuster reform of nominations NOT a win-win for Dems?  Can anyone explain this to me?

      is already to much of a GOP joke to even vote YES on , it is insulting to immigrants , and is a terrible deal for american workers , I am guessing they will take a few good ideas out of it and try and pass those

      This is just another head fake by senior dems to pretend they care , the GOP will offer the pass 2 of the nominees presented in the diary , and maybe 2 or 3 conservative judge appointees , and Reid will take the lame deal , in exchange for the GOP to filibuster everything for the next 2 year , the dem party is a joke right now
