    Freedom of the press has never meant the ability to launder crimes.

    The outrage here is that we have reached a time when people believe it is ok to burn spies. Both the source and the AP are complicit in releasing this information and putting lives in jeopardy. People have skipped over the investigation to whine about why it is it came to this in the first place.

    Funny how many on the Left understood this when Robert Novak released Valarie Plame's name, but have a different standard when it is AP and some poor spy and his family over in Yemen.

    What kind of damage has been done to our ability to recruit intelligence assets? Who is going to trust the U.S. if they are afraid that if they help? We do not seem to be able to assure them that their assistance will not be leaked to the media or handed over to Wikileaks.

    There is scandal here but it isn't because the AP was subpoenaed.

    The politicians may be bought, and the system corrupt, but it is our duty to fix these things.
