  •  The point of Ramen is easy as well as cheap... (8+ / 0-)

so I only do one pot meals to minimize dishwashing.

Various frozen mixed veggies, especially oriental or california blend are good; I usually throw in peas for protein, or else open a can of sardines or tuna.

Boil enough water to cover the veggies and ramen.

Ramen goes in last bc it takes the least time to cook; typically peas go in first, then mixed veggies.

I usually break the package of ramen into quarters before dropping into pot so the noodles don't come out inconveniently long.

Season to taste; I generally use some oil and the flavorings packet.

When done I toss in some ice to make it warm rather than hot, and eat the liquid as soup.

There's no such thing as a free market!
