Indictments of Koch Brothers funded politicians, quid pro quo, blocking nominees to hamstring agencies that interfere with the 1%'s profits and the collapse of Hate Radio's empire of lies.
Of course, a Democratic House in 2014 would help a lot.

If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!

And I'm sure, given enough scrutiny, that there is a mountain of illegal campaign finance shenanigans that that alone would yield indictments, without having to tie donations to specific actions or non-actions (like blocking confirmations).
Is it legal for legislators to copy-paste ALEC into the lawbooks? Particularly while the backers of ALEC are also funding their campaigns?

model legislation from any source. Legislation cannot be approved by a single member of a legislative body. It goes through a process of review and then a vote of two legislative bodies and the review and approval by a governor. There are no crimes involved in that process.

The legality of the backers of ALEC providing campaign contributions is completely separate and must comply with current campaign laws. The fact that some entity supports ALEC and legislators who support ALEC policies isn't illegal unless they violate specific laws.

What does that have to do with ALEC or the Koch Bros?

will be indicted short of another economic collapse. But given Obama's failure to regulate the banks and the stock market reaching new highs unsupported by a rise in consumer spending this will happen soon. A year or 2 is my guess.
As much as I love Proglegs posts I fear that the Right will reach into their own pocket to keep Rush alive at least for the next Presidential Election.
But if Hilary or any White Person wins the White House next time the GOP will blame their loss on Hilary stealing White Voters.
I think Obama being Black was our best shot at convincing the GOP that their ideas suck and they must change to survive.
If a Minority who was ran as a Socialist won the White House running on Abortion Rights, Gay Rights, Immigrant Rights, National Healthcare etc that might do it. I can't think of any other scenario.
