    Happy to sign petition.
    Did not know about the 2006 ban on new products.They are really trying to cripple the USPS and go after another public sector union.

      Frankly, Republican opposition to the USPS is just one more clue that they really don't like the U.S. Constitution much, or at the least they don't like it much the way the founders intended.

      In fact, they don't just dislike the Constitution -- by legislating undue regulatory encumbrances on the USPS -- they're actively working to subvert it.

      Article I, Section 8, Clause 7 of the United States Constitution, known as the Postal Clause or the Postal Power, empowers Congress "To establish Post Offices and post Roads".
      (yes, it can be argued that every single American citizen has a Constitutional right to access a post office)
