  •  Does Pope Francis need a food tester? (12+ / 0-)

Pope John Paul 1 died 33 days after becoming Pope in 1978.There was a lot of confusion and conflicting accounts concerning his death.
Pope John Paul 1 immediately ordered an investigation of the Vatican bank. He also was about to make a series of dismissals and new appointments and remove those accused of financial and other misdeeds. The pope also wanted the church's wealth shared with the poor. There is a lot of speculation about his death and I urge you to not to just take my word but do research on your own.

I'm worried about. I don't know what I can do about it except worry. I'm not into prayer.

The Pope Mobile replaced with The Beast painted white? I dunno.

    •  Been reading too much Dan Brown? (0+ / 0-)

I suppose it is remotely within the realm of possibility that the mafia got that one Pope, but seriously, do you think someone would actually poison Francis?

It's been a long time since the Borgias, or since the Catholic Church was actually central to the European banking system. They have been embroiled in financial scandal, but this isn't like HSBC or the collapse of the Greek Economy in scale.

"This is a pope with many enemies."

I can't find the real quote from Godfather 3, so I went searching for it.  I think this is it.

"The Pope is doing what you said he'd do. He's cleaning house.

Michael:  He should be careful. It's dangerous to be an honest man."
