    diary, which touches upon buying greener. Nice segue. I'd elaborate, but...

    As for the expensiveness of alternatives, such as organic vs. factory farmed produce, I hear you. It's a major impediment. And there are many. It's no accident more of us haven't made the full switch to sustainability.

      Pony List. IF PBO can't pull off a big FDR style WPA maybe we could at least get something - I know next to nothing about this btw - something along the lines of JFK's "To The Moon by the end of the decade" thing, to get huge numbers of American households equipped with green, uhm, stuff. Appliances etc. Even the most simple things (appliance wise) are just not affordable for those of us who live paycheck to paycheck.
