  •  I used to live in Port Clyde (3+ / 0-)

back in the seventies in the house next to the fire station as you are coming into town. I used to be a part of the volunteer fire department with Jimmy Barstow, Rick Matthews and Tim Polky.

      down in Thomaston. Small world.

There's another Kossack down 131: Patty Kahn. I don't hesitate to use her name since she's here under it.

I resent that. I demand snark, and overly so -- Markos Moulitsas.

    •  "Polky's Back Acre". Legendary 131 sign. (4+ / 0-)

That and "Welcome to Martinsville. Come again" because you leave the village as soon as you enter it. That and of course, the legendary "Humble Farmer" who was writing for the Press Herald last week, in fact.

      •  I used to use the Humble Farmer to cut my fields (0+ / 0-)

back in the seventies. Most recently he was among the people I got to put up yard signs for all my Knox County Dems, Cynthia and Chellie. In Martinsville there used to be a guy who made pig stoves. I used one to heat my shop before I put walls on it.
