  •  Good points. I just read that Draper Daniels stuff (1+ / 0-)

last week (are you my secret twin or what?). That story was super creepy and only the commenters got it. The wife seemed clueless about how she was manipulated.

I have no idea how the story will end and it would not surprise me a bit if it's just a repeat of Don and Betty, that this is Matthew Weiner's way of showing us the early years of their marriage, reinforcing the "people can't change" theme.

I really don't know which way they're going to go from this episode. I will say that even though I thought this episode was brilliant, it was impossible to read from Don's eyes in the elevator where he's going. My suspicion is down (giving up creative control in the next scene), but this show is unpredictable and that's why I love it.

    •  i read it a while back- forgot the details (1+ / 0-)

i think i know what you're talking about though- how he informed her they were going to get married?

no clue what's going to happen next. i'm waiting for don and betty to hook up sometime this year or next- probably not to remarry, though.

wouldn't it be something if the next episode is 1970, like don wants?

He awakes from his vague only to defend the rustbucket Chevy Vega.

        •  At this point the Vega is not a rust bucket. It's (0+ / 0-)

the hottest new engineering idea to hit the streets.

The ad agency (whatever they name it) aren't aware of the poor quality being built into this car.
