    The conditions in the atmosphere (wind, cloud, front changes) can help predict tornado areas & regions.

    Once a funnel is formed and snaking down to earth, as shown in the excellent video, also on this site; can the direction an individual twister will move be predicted?  Or is it just too fast & random to get a handle on it?

      Tornadoes twist and writhe, lift and lower.  You can forecast a cone moving outward based upon the movement of the storm cell that's producing the tornado, but that's going to be miles across as you go out, not that specific.  And not all tornadoes are associated with a storm cell that you can easily track on radar.  And these things move fast.
