    while our legislature, and the governor's office is in the hands of the Republican party.

    Something tells me that even Republicans aren't going to be too pleased when they learn that grandma, and/or grandpa will be moving in with them instead of going to a nursing home for care.

    Wish us well until we throw the idiots out.

      that most* Republicans will blame Obama, "heinous libruls", etc.

      * I am most likely underestimating here.

      •  When Republicans get hit in their wallet, they (0+ / 0-)

        will understand.

        They are about to get hit in their wallets.  Taking care of elderly parents who used to have medicaid coverage for nursing home care will be an awakening.  Correct me if I'm wrong but 70% of people in nursing homes are covered by medicaid.  That's an awful lot of people.

          "Obummer," "Obozo," "THAT one," etc.
          But some might be able to break their conditioning.
          And every day, there are fewer of them -- and more of us.
          Patience is a challenge -- especially when our fellow citizens are dying, utterly unnecessarily.
          But that -- and keeping on working -- are what we've got.
