AD-32 (Salas) and CD-21 (Valadao) are going to be tight races no matter what happened tonight. Now we just have to deal with knocking off an incumbent state senator who at this point is generic R with humongous annoying signs along I-5, and as long as we have strong Dems running here it should be fine unless Fresno gets vaporized or something.

The GOP also doesn't have the resources to run the table. I mean, Jim Brulte isn't to be trifled with (he did pull off the last legislative majority the CA GOP ever had back in 1994), but the GOP isn't going to be rebuilt in the next two years. They still haven't even stopped their downward slide, let alone claw upward.

    23, D, pragmatic progressive (-4.50, -5.18), CA-14.
