    I'm merely suggesting that fear acts counter to the exercise of such power.

    Fear induces irrationality at the very moment when rational thought is most essential to the exercise of that power.

      we're not dealing with "normal" people when it comes to the corporaist ruling elite.  These people are ruthless thugs, in essence.  The only reason they haven't taken off their masks yet is because thus far they've been able to manipulate the population.

      If enough people "wake up" and realize the actual state of affairs, these thugs would take their masks off in a heartbeat, and then we'll see what they're really about.

      If I'm right, then only a massive show of force, enough to intimidate them would prevent them from committing atrocities.

      I think that's the disconnect when it comes to the Liberals' understanding of what we're dealing with.
