    Thanks for your recommendations. I continuously find myself shocked at the lack of attention outside Latin American scholar's circles the Dirty War gets, so I appreciate the feedback.

      the Madres of the Plaza de Mayo.  Her photographs and stories are getting traction here, often shown at venues connected to ending genocide or the Shoah.  I'd recommend talking to her if you're interested.  I'll kosmail a link to her site.

      I'm not looking for a love that will lift me up and carry me away. A love that will stroll alongside and make a few amusing comments will suffice.
