    theories all the time.

    For years I believed in the LIHOP theory of 9/11.

    I was wrong.

    I see otherwise rational, logical thinking adults to this day still go on and on about Building 7.

      Reagan's "October Surprise" (the idea that Reagan colluded with the Iranians to prevent the hostages from being released until after the election so Carter would lose) might be true.

      After a few years, though, I gave up on it.  If it had really happened, somebody would have blabbed their guts out about it by now, and we'd know every detail.

        Reagan's henchmen (there are always henchmen in conspiracy theories) promised to funnel some missiles, rocket launchers and spare parts past a UN arms embargo to the Ayatollah's gub'ment in iran, in exchange for setting the hostages free as soon as Reagan was elected? And then kept on selling such stuff to Iran using middlemen [countries like Israel and Brunei] so they could funnel the money past the Boland Amendment and into the hands of right wing paramilitary death squads in Central America?

        Hahahaha!!! Yeah, I remember that nutty conspiracy theory. Seemed like a lot of people you wouldn't normally associate with nutball CTs bought that one. Go figure...
