    The fact is, the press has never been exempt from laws involving breaches of national security, and the Supreme Court has repeatedly upheld bans and censorship in those respects.  They've also overruled government intrusion when national security was not at stake (Near v Minnesota, the Pentagon Papers case, etc).  

    Read about the Office of Censorship during World War 2.  Did you know they used to open people's mail?  The slope is not always slippery, my friend.  In fact, it isn't always even a slope.

    Conservatives need to realize that their Silent Moral Majority is neither silent, nor moral, nor a majority.
