honestly even at 87 that's probably still a steal considering I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 200-300 within the next couple years

Tesla earns it's profits because of the California ZEV credits,
but their growth appears sound and they seem to be able
      to beat the odds.

course but it's a very real possiblity. Right now the major hurdle for Telsa is cost of the car but Musk knows this and has even publically acknowledged this and has stated that they are already working on a much much more affordable model.

If they can do that then Telsa will be secure at least for the interm and well at that point the only problems they will have is meeting demand and getting their product out.

        •  things they have done (0+ / 0-)

          establish a national brand

          establish a sales channel

          manufacture product.

          things not done

build out a national charger network

stop being a one trick pony

show the product runs good for at least 5 years.

some of it's happening some time wil prove.

to accuse them of being a one trick pony, the S model is either their 2nd or 3rd car and frankly each model has been better then last

As to the product well given that they have been operating for 7 years I think that speaks for itself

As to a national charger network that can't really be on any one company and while I am sure one will be built like gas station coverage it simply will take time. In the interim you have almost 200-300 miles of range more then enough for a full week of average driving.
