      you think about Chris Hedges' views?  Especially regarding the article "Rise Up or Die"

      My understanding of the situation is exactly the same.  But I don't bring that up to vindicate my views.  I'm genuinely interested in your answer.

      I argue that during times like this (if I'm right), the reason fascism is able to entrench itself is because the majority of the population remains unaware of it.

        Overwrought. I agree that we have a crisis, too, but I don't think corporate taxes or Mumia are central at all. I just respectfully don't see the point of your enterprise.

          Well, at least the "conspiracy theorists" of yore are not becoming "hyperbolic" and "overwrought."  That's an improvement.  Again, do a little research about how early-adopters of unvarnished reality are usually seen by the larger society in every era.

          It will take a little more time for many to realize what's happening.
