English WHY?  They don't even grasp their own contradictions and absurdities. What fools.

English, which accounts for the massive growth in Welsh and Gaidhlig schools. Most Urban Scots speak Scots Leid on a day-to-day basis.

They're doing their best to revive and standardize the language. This is the reason that the Scots have such a thick language.

They don't grow up speaking the language, and they translate for English speakers because the languages are so similar.

    •  Oh! I see what you're asking. (0+ / 0-)

No, the nativists are generally ethnic nationalists  who are concerned with the preservation of the Aryan race in the British Isles, and many of them consider the Irish to be subhuman.

They're a small group of complete loons.

Most of the radical traditions in Wales and Scotland, Siol nan Gaidheal, Muidiadd Amdyffyn Cymru, Mebion Glyndwr and the like have focused on independence movements.

The SnG is a weird and factional organization. They call themselves ultra-nationalists. Some of them are mostly anti-english, wanting to wipe out what they consider colonialism, by removing everything and everyone English from Scotland. It's a weird organization.

They're a small group of loons. The two Welsh organizations have carried out bombings, against the Royal Family, the Llyn Celyn Reservior (which kicked off violent Welsh resistance,) and against empty English summer homes.
