    but the girl is still pretty screwed. The fact that she was publicly accused of a terrorist act, even though she was never charged, is going to haunt her forever. She got into Space Camp, and I'm sure she'll have a great time. But is she going to get into a good college having been expelled from her high school? If she gets a degree will she be able to get a job? It's all very uncertain at this stage. I'm happy for her that she is going to Space camp but I'd be much happier if I knew that her future wasn't in jeopardy.

      for that young lady who protested abstinence education.  Maybe they could be persuaded to admit a budding scientist?  

      Or perhaps Mr. Hickam could help her get into MIT or Cal-Tech or someplace.

      From an HR standpoint, I don't think most jobs care about what happened in high school - and no one is allowed to ask about potential criminal accusations - only charges and convictions.
