Why should Republicans voting to confirm a Republican be reason to stop filibuster reform?
The judiciary is still in serious crisis, there are still at least two, maybe three vacancies on the DC Circuit even with this confirmation, not to mention all the others around the country.
Republicans allow votes on qualified judicial nominees who are actually to the left of a Republican, then maybe consider pulling back on filibuster reform.
Of course, Obama needs to get much, much more agressive about providing nominees and demanding votes.  For the life of me, I don't understand why Dems are so complacent about not filling the federal bench with qualified, progressive judges.  Then they whine about how rightwing judges overturn the laws and regulations they pass.
    Wake up, idiots.

already?  Reid screwed up big time by not holding the filibuster reform vote on the first day of the session.  Or any day thereafter.  I do not trust that Reid will fix anything.  He's process and collegiality over substance and good government.
