    but the wording of the Deeds of Gift may give the City the right to sell the art if they want to (many donors allow this, because they get the tax write-off anyway, and the presumption is that the sale would still support the museum). Usually, specific restrictions aren't written into the standard Deed, and are added later at the request of the donor. Most donors don't expect this kind of thing.
