  •  Love the interaction between you (6+ / 0-)

two, FJHN. I imagine a tv and or internet show with both of you - you and Brecht - playing your favorite tracks and discussing them.
That would be on my must watch list. I don't think there's anything like that out there.
    Whaddya think?

    •  Thank you - I feel the same. I used to write music (4+ / 0-)

diaries. I'm still trying to get a smooth production line of book diaries running. There will come a day, probably this fall, when I've got that entirely sorted. Then I'll start writing rock diaries, too.

I find it harder to write a good music diary; books live in the verbal part of my imagination, so it's easy to weave articulate insights out of them. And R&BLers has a lot of members who feel the same, so I find it easy to generate engaging and subtle conversations on booky matters.

I enjoy immensely that Free Jazz at High Noon brings that same level of knowledge and strong opinions to our discussions of music, and I've had some very interesting music talk with you, too, JoanMar.

      •  Do you plan on going beyond (3+ / 0-)

        this site, Brecht.
        You should, imho.
See, I am not selfish. When I find a treasure, I like to share with as many as possible. :)

        •  I'm not really looking for other websites or such, (3+ / 0-)

as Daily Kos gives me scope to express myself and maintain complex conversation. But I do eventually hope to make a living out of writing, somehow. It's the work I most enjoy.
