  •  Yes - I remember being very excited by the first (3+ / 0-)

season of the new Who.  I loved that line - many of my paternal ancestors were from Yorkshire.

My grandmother was born there, her family emigrated to Canada when she was two or three.  I do remember her talking about English relatives.  The other Yorkshire relatives (paternal line great great grandparents) came to Canada in the 1850s and I don't know anything about branches of their families that stayed behind.

if required...I really enjoyed Eccleston as the Doctor. I was born around 60 miles away from where he was! :)

He is John Tam - Private Hagman in the 'Sharp' series, singing. John comes from Belper, a Derbyshire village which is 6 miles away from MY 'home' village! I can sound very like this, if needed!
