    but still really pissed. I spent over an hour going from site to site and there are sooooooo many bugs in how they are planning and calculating this, besides the fact that the poorest of the poor should NOT be excluded at all.

    If they are going to adjust tax credits (up or down) for the folks who get the subsidies every year through tax returns (whether too high or too low), how are they going to make adjustments for people whose income fluctuates above and below the poverty line in any given year. This is insane!

    I am just hoping, for my own pitiful case, that I can apply in January 2014 using my 2013 return.

    And thank you. I have been reading your diaries whenever I come across one, ever since OWS.

      You probably know a lot more about how it's going to work at this point than I do.

      If you think you are getting screwed I would be the last person - the last I tell you - to suggest fudging things a bit if possible so that you fall out of the gap and into the Exchange.

      Or see if you can file some sort of appeal or statement affirming that your income will, for 2014, qualify you the Exchanges, no matter what your 2012 income was.
