That one class of men can impose on another?

Why does the world continue to allow so many to live in dire desperation in Haiti?  Or should we spell it Hate-I

Many Haitian children are fed "dirt cookies" even today.  Look it up

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

is the way that free blacks, once they acquired wealth, thought of themselves as different from black slaves.

Why the Right Continue to Live in Mortal Fear

If I understand this writing correctly, those who exploit others for personal gain, fear those they subject, so they terrify their subjects with cruel and abusive treatment.

The wealthy can buy enforcers to keep their subjects in line and/or dead.

Haitian history teaches that wealth/power can corrupt all men, regardless of race.

All people are subject to cognitive dissonance to suit their self-interested purposes as long as they refuse to see a broader picture, IMO.

Requires strong psychological and ideological underpinning.

Interesting how it happens so spontaneously, no instruction manual required.

A slower bleed-out is not a sustainable value.
