    •  You know what bobswern, you are a very (0+ / 0-)

angry and negative person who often spews venom at people here who don't share the vehemence of your anger. I, for one, am not a shallow person and resent your ugly and derogatory comments time and time again directed at everyone who doesn't jump on the bobswern bandwagon. I know you have been here a long time. I know you have written a lot of diaries. That doesn't give you the right to put down and belittle people who disagree with you or don't opt to see the world through your negative and hopeless lenses. Certainly the world has a lot of problems, there is injustice, there is violence, there is poverty, but what is new? You can choose to spend your life in anger, but don't ask the rest of us to join you. Life is very short. People have a right to try and enjoy that life as best they can and try and contribute to the world in a positive way in whatever way they are able. Most of the people here are here because they care about the world around them and want to contribute in some way, want to become more informed. People have families, people have jobs, and yes, people even have social lives. So maybe not everyone is as informed about the direness of our collective circumstances as you are. Maybe not everyone has the capacity to comprehend the absolute dismal state of human affairs as you see it. You can choose to fight 24 hours a day, seven days a week against whatever horrors you believe are out there, but you have no right to belittle the rest of us because we contribute in a different way, see things in a different light, or lack your perfect capacity to know it all. Maybe you should try and table your obvious disdain for much of humanity and think about what you hope to accomplish and what you are really fighting for when you seem to hold so many of us in such low regard.
