    thing we actually don't have to worry about with respect to these three nominations is that they are being nominated to the DC Court of Appeals, which no Senator represents and therefore the nominees are not subject to a "blue slip" hold, a secret hold, or any other kind of hold. They can only be blocked by a filibuster, and then of course only if Senate Dems allow it. All the Dems have to do is decide to grow a pair and force up-or-down votes and....voila! Democrats would then hold a 7-4 majority of active judges on the 2nd most important court in the land.
