    a show on NPR not too long ago, with a good panel of guests with experience in various food and nutrition programs...except for one guest, some sort of opinion writer for the WSJ, who relied only on his own anecdotal experience and rightwing ideology--such as some guy in line ahead of him at the grocery store trying to buy crab legs with food stamps(outrageous!), and his belief, based on nothing, that we can eliminate food stamps or any other government food assistance because the American people are so charitable and we wouldn't let anyone in this country go hungry.
    I doubt that's possible, especially if people have the same attitude as that asshole from the WSJ.
