    Yeah, we can rise above that nature, and many societies have done so.  Sadly, we aren't one of them.  We're just as backwards (as a society as a whole, not each individual member of said society) and unenlightened as the Romans with their plebian society, some of the Greek city states with their patricidal ways (kill our parents, because they're a burden now), the ancient Indian (as in from India, not Native Americans...and it saddens me that I feel the need to clarify this descriptor) caste system, et al.

    Thank you for the kind words.  Things have been slowly getting better around here; certainly not as bad as some of my fellow Kossites, so I daren't complain too loudly.  I'm proud of what I have, and feel that I have earned every scrap of it.  It's hard, but it's worth it.
