  •  alas, the Dems have us by the balls, and they know (6+ / 0-)

No matter how often they piss in our face and tell us it's raining (and could we please give them some money for an umbrella), they know our only response can be "thank you sir, may I please have another?"

What ELSE are we gonna do---vote gopper instead?

    •  Well, I'm not voting for them (4+ / 0-)

not the ones who support this junk, anyway.

Exactly which good thing will the Dems defend but the Repubs won't?

Other than marriage equality, I'm coming up a blank. Some have tried to paint women's issues as part of what Dems will defend, but I remember the 2010 ACA Bart Stupak poison pill all too well. The Dems will throw women under the bus whenever it's convenient for them to do so.

So far, marriage equality is the one place they haven't done it. Maybe Lloyd Blankfein told them it was OK to let gays and lesbians marry.

      •  Gay marriage/hand guns cost the 1% next to nothing (5+ / 0-)

As long as we are distracted from the fundamental dismembering, disarticulating, despoiling of civil society they are happy. They take it all and rent it back to us. Our descendants will be beggared. Simple. Bipartisan.
