    so basically they're going to try for a medically-based miracle.

    The risks to "Beatriz" will still be outrageously high, even IF everything goes "well".

    The fetus will be accessible long enough to be baptized, and the establishment can salve their consciences when it dies by saying they "did everything they could".

    For the fetus, that is.

    And it's still attempted femicide - a form of murder that is "justified" because the victim is "only a woman".

      the news. This is less certain to kill her, we hope. The whole thing is totally outrageous, of course. Some court or other intervened and told the Salvadoran government to do something, or likely they wouldn't have done even this.

      We all understand that freedom isn't free. What Romney and Ryan don't understand is that neither is opportunity. We have to invest in it.
