    children's education in NC State supported schools 20 something years ago, compared to what it costs today, it boggles the mind.

    While we in the United States continue to dumb down the electorate and our children by denying them an affordable education, the rest of the "undeveloped" world is catching on.  

    They educate their brightest children, hook them up with contract companies, and send them to the US to make money they could only dream of in their own countries.

    Something is very wrong with this picture.

      with this picture, and we need a complete shift in how we're thinking about education. The idea that our kids need for spend 4 years+ to get a Bachelor's degree that won't enable them to get a job to pay back their loans is counterintuitive. They'll be in indentured servitude for decades, unable to realize even the basic elements of what was once the American dream.
