  •  I didn't care about Robb that much, (8+ / 0-)

    and I was still offended by the way it was handled.  It destroyed the story arc without giving it enough of a twist to maintain structural integrity and keep it interesting.  Robb's likeability wasn't that important with so many characters in the book.

    My favorite character was Anya, the little girl who wants to be an assassin.  They didn't have enough of her.

      And you don't want to know what happens to her.

      But yeah, I loved her too.

      This is, as Rimjob has pointed out, basically The Wars of the Roses or something -- just with fantasy trappings.

      I only hope that the Targaryen girl with the dragons can beat off the assholes and also the Undead from the North.

      Because the Starks can't help -- they're mostly all dead -- and the Wall is seriously understaffed.
