    And I think there were some places during the war where retrievals were carried out. But, when you think about them being used as part of a large assault of some kind, picking them up for re-use is going to get a pretty low priority while everything is tied up on winning the battle and moving on from the initial landing. Once a beach head has been established, it's generally a lot easier to bring in troops by the ground.
