    But I'm unsure why we are underestimating Pallone at the least.  He's a pretty decent name in NJ politics and to be fair, the NJGOP is not a well-run machine.

    I know we can say Massachusetts in terms of never taking anything for granted, but the MAGOP has had Weld, Romney, Brown, etc. in the Governor's mansion or Senate.  The NJGOP has had nothing, Kyrillos, Kean Jr., etc. have been horrible nominees and I don't think Whitman can win a seat anymore.  Kean Sr. and Christie is kind of it for them.

    Pallone has lots of money, but I agree with you that you don't want to botch a seat for the simple sense of party purity.  The good news is that August is two months away, and hopefully Pallone or Holt can make an impression at least.  

    Even if they don't win, they are two very good Reps. that deserve a lot of credit.
