  •  I would hope that only Holt OR Pallone run... (8+ / 0-)

...and not both. Both Holt and Pallone know that with both of them in the race they're kind of cooked from the get-go....UNLESS they make a deal that whomever's DOWN in the polls at a certain date will withdraw in support of the other prior to primary day.

the deal has been made - wish I had something more solid though.

      •  Then, there's a second step to that scenario... (0+ / 0-)

...because whomever's going to do more poorly on primary day (given "X" amount of days prior to that day, and based upon polls, which ALL assumes that the polling results aren't too disparate, and they're not in a dead heat, or running close enough to void the deal, etc.) will also be the beneficiary of a myriad of backdoor/backroom deals from "other interested parties" to STAY in the race, too! (Hmmmm...did I just write that? Why, yes...yes, I did. LOL!)

Hey! As they say, "politics ain't beanbag." (And, that's my 25 Dem campaigns' worth of experience--not to mention being born and raised in the Garden State where most of my family still resides--talkin' in this comment, too.)
