Beautiful job in Traverse City.  What an incredibly beautiful theater, and an incredible group of people.

Say, any interest in saving the Uptown Theatre on Chicago's North Side?   It's only 10 times the size and probably only needs about 20 times the rehabbing.  Sadly, with every passing year, and every passing of ownership, this former movie palace falls further and further into disrepair.  I had the great fortune to tour the building about 20 years (and probably about 10 owners) ago, and the place is so breath-taking, and so full of potential, that it breaks the hearts of so many Chicagoans to see it being left to fall about after years of unfulfilled plans and promises.

Latest rehab figures I've heard are anywhere from $60-80 million.  I'll sell the popcorn.

Seriously, though, as someone with a keen interest in historic preservation, keep up the marvelous work.
