    in some pretty traditional R&B stuff, a little jazzed up with the percussion, but then Belew lays his freaky lead on top of it in the center piece.  If you want classic Belew, (I think at this best), then any of the live versions of Station to Station are pretty much tours de force:

    For, Fripp/Bowie, I recommend anything from Scary Monsters, particularly Up The Hill Backwards, but It's No Game (Part 1 or 2) are also excellent.

    On a related tangent of Bowie and guitarists, his version of Putting Out Fire with SRV is pretty brilliant.  Amazing transformation of the song from the Cat People version. Quite a contrast in sounds, but DB is quite the creative collaborator.
