  •  That is absurd. It just shows a total lack of (1+ / 0-)

understanding about American history; about the fight for labor rights, and civil rights.

Throughout the entire history of this country citizens have always have to struggle against the ruling class of the day, peacefully and otherwise.

What do you think Kennedy meant with this quote:

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
"A true revolution?"  As define by whom?  You?  Dude, you should stick to regurgitating stuff about the weather if you're just going to go to somebody else's diary and share this kind of absurd pablum.
    •  At least when I write about the weather, (5+ / 0-)

people read it. Can't say the same about you.

If you say "gullible" real slow, it sounds like "green beans."

      •  Yes dude, you're really popular. Keep writing (0+ / 0-)

        about the weather.

        •  I will, thanks. (2+ / 0-)

If you want people to take your writing more seriously, try toning down the condescension and quit using the prepackaged "stick to the weather" shtick your friends overuse. It really clashes with the whole 'compassionate bleeding-heart' thing you guys go for.

          •  So you think you and I are on the same league (0+ / 0-)

when it comes to serious writing?

Let's go back to what started this tread:

            Never happen.

A true revolution means everyone has to sacrifice everything they have in order to overhaul society and bring about real change.

It'll never happen here in the United States. Any calls/wishes otherwise is just typing for the sake of typing.

In my reply, I called that assertion absurd.  Not because of any animosity, but just as a statement of fact.

Then you characterize the content of my diary as "just typing for the sake of typing."

So now we have absurdity, and condescension.

Then, after I called you on it, you try to throw our weight around by alluding to your loyal fans, and how popular you are.

Dude, we're not on the same league.

If you, like others have attempted to do, want to follow me around making childish and absurd comments in my diaries, be my guest.

When your comments are absurd, I will plainly call them so.  If there is a rare occasion when you try to engage in a real intelligent debate, I will always be glad oblige.
