    Hell, unarmed citizens have overthrown several governments already; and Assad is only surviving due to Russian arms shipments.

    And I don't think a lot of our weapons manufacturers' employees are actually in favor of fascism...

    There's still too much information for them to get anything useful out of it, especially when they are alienating more and more people every day.  I just collect and provide info.  

    The people they have to worry about people absolutely innocuous-looking, probably well-connected within the corridors of power who hear about the government's abuses and think (quietly) "That's unconstitutional and I should do something about it".  

    They have no chance of identifying such people.  Zero.

      that is hundreds of times more powerful than Assad's. The US also has a well structured media propaganda machine that is the best in the world.

      Those in the corridor's of power have a vested interest in ensuring they win the class war. (Yes, there is a class war going on.)
