    You train yourself to be mindful of things with post it notes. Put one by the doors reminding yourself to drink more (dehydration can cause or aggravate dizzy spells) and be extra careful if it's hot. Also remind yourself to let people know you are going out in the heat. Maybe take a portable chair or walker with a seat out when it's hot, so you can SIT and deadhead instead of relying on your balance. Make sure you leave a post it note reminding yourself to take that with you.

    I know, you'll have post it notes all over, but it works. Either that or hang white boards and write yourself notes.

    You'll always care that this happened to you and things have changed. But by posting notes to yourself it will affect you less.
